Default 2006 parking light replacement

I've done a search on this, but could not find any information on a replacing the parking lights on a 2006+ 350Z. Is this the same procedure as doing it on a 2003-05 Z?
Just for kicks, I called several Nissan dealers and they all want to charge one hour of labor for this job. Are you kidding me??? What a joke.

take out the old parking light and put the new one in. in the time it took you to search and wait for an answer you could have been done already.

I'm gonna assume that you can't get to the bolts that are under the front bumper? I have an 04 and you can't take out the headlight unless you take the front bumper off which is a big PITA.. What I did was took of my wheels on the front and removed the plastic wheel well covers (like 8 screws in the well and 4 underneath the front bumper) and just popped the light out of the socket. Took me about 30min to do since I didn't know what I was doing at first. Took me about 5min to remove the second wheel well cover and put it back on.

Will that same procedure work on a 2006+ 350Z? I've also read that you can turn your wheel in all the way, jack up your Z and remove 2 screws and 3 clips on the fender liner. Then pull it back enough to gain access to the parking light.

I disagree on the PITA part.... takes me 15 mins to remove the front bumper.

having said that... to simply replace the parking light bulb is quick and easy. jack the front of the car up. get a small phillips screw driver (to fit between your fender and your wheel, otherwise remove the wheel), and remove the front 2 or 3 screws from the plastic inner fender lining. pull it back a bit with one hand, reach in with the other hand and undo the bulb. done.

I have an '07 redline.

taking off your bumper takes a max of 10 minutes. You just jack it up, unscrew the bottom bolts, side bolts, and take out the top plugs. But if you don't want to take off the bumper, like everyone said, just jack it up, take bolts off side fender, stick your arm in, tight squeeze, and twist the handle holding the parking bulb and replace.

If you're talking about the front bumper reflector, you'll have the easiest time just taking the front bumper off and removing them that way. They are very easy to remove.

Others have taken them off with the bumper mounted, but I personally think that would take too much effort.

actually i think he may mean the square bulb cover that is inside the light housing itself on the 06+ lights. if that is it then the only way to remove it is to open the housing up comletely and take it off, then reseal. of course if you are going to go that far for a piece of plastic then you might as well paint them and make it worth the effort
