I have a million stone chips in my front bumper cover. I'm coming up with a list of materials to paint it next weekend.

I'm curious if these quantities are correct.

1 pint sprayable base
1 pint clear
1 pint primer
1 or 2 cans of adhesion promoter
anti static degreaser
tack cloth
sandpaper (Dry 240, 320) to bring down to raw plastic (Wet 400, 600) to wetsand primer

Think the amount of primer, base, and clear is correct?

 

I think it depends on the color, there was a chart from nissan showing the different colors by code and the number of color coats, clear coats, etc.

 

Anyone have this said chart? I'm painting Chrome Silver KY0 which should cover pretty decently on grey primer.

 

I painted my front bumper myself... chrome silver..if you know how to use an air gun.. u dont need more than a pint of paint.

 

if you do a search for paint codes, I know its either in one of those main threads or is linked from one of those main threads.
