Default High Beams not Working

I installed halos and sti lens mod and now my high beam doesnt work. I installed them on both sides, but only the passenger side high beam works. I was pretty sure after I installed them both sides worked, but I turned them on for fun today and the driver side doesnt work. Could the halos have anything to do with it? I made sure the halo didnt go in that far to affect the high beam switch. Any suggestions? I heard high beams in ca are illegal so i guess it doesnt matter, but would like to know why it doesnt work, thanks.

Have you tried swapping it back? I'd also check fuses and relays to see if something killed itself in the process.

If high beams were illegal, they wouldn't be on the car from the factory. I assume you must have an '06 plus with the bi-xenon lights. I suspect you have messed up something in the wiring for the solenoid that moves the deflector. You might need to take the light apart and check it out.

It was working fine after I installed it. This is the situation: I installed halos on both sides of my headlights. I install both headlights, but the passenger side halo was defective so only the driver side halo works. And the driver side high beam switch doesnt work, but the passenger side works. I was thinking maybe the extra energy used to turn on the halos has something to do with the high beam switch not coming on? There was nothing wrong with the wires, I checked before I put them back together. Is there a way I can get to the high beam switch without taking them apart again? Can I just access them from the plug in the back?
