Unhappy Our Projector light suckx

I just replaced my bulb to 6000K, it is blue-ish purple...I like the color and all...but I hope our projector was bigger.

As compared to the S2000 head light unit, man, have you guys seem how far those light beams go?? I wish ours look more like that...

they also blind oncoming traffic. if its a real problem just re-aim them. be prepared to have oncoming traffic flash their lights at you tho.

I had that problem when I had S2000. More people would flash their lights at me but not with my 350z. I do like the S2000 lights better than 350z. the beams go very far on them. I wonder if I can buy S2000 light and put them on my 350z....j/k

new set up as in the new light bulb?? it is hard to tell on a digital camara pic, cuz all the lights appear blue anyway
I tried to take a pic of it comparing it to my other stock bulb, but they both looked blue...

Check this out...
Someone with a G35 Coupe transplanted BMW X5 projectors into his headlight housings. Looks awesome!

I wanna go back to the dealer and have them re-aim them higher. Our lights aim way too low

I dont think the factory HID lighting with the Z is poor, I just think its different. Chances are, it probably just has a wider spread.. which isnt so much a bad thing anyway.

The X5 projectors look so-so, I am not sure if it was worth the trouble. They definately look like they need to be tuned a little lower as well.

If you ask me, the only projector thats REALLY worth switching to would be the multi-lens unit off of the newest Q45, that is one beautiful piece of technology. Only downside is that the unit is rather large, but its still wonderful.

You guys should be more content with the Z headlamps. Another reason why the Z's lighting may APPEAR to be worse than other HID lamps, is because of the Z's low stance. Anytime a headlight is placed lower, it wont throw the light as far.. reducing the overall distance of your lighting. The S2000 is also a low car, but as many have noted.. its lighting setup from the factory is tuned a bit high PLUS its stiff suspension doesnt help. I really despise being in front of S2000's.. I wish I had HID reverse lights for times like that.

hehe sounds james-bondish.. not sure if I'de ever want that, but interesting.. nonetheless.

why are so many Z owners getting rear ended, this doesnt make sense. Maybe brighter tail lights should be on the list of mods to get.. hmmmmm... I didnt realize this was such an issue with the OEM tail lights.
