Default JPM Coachworks: Alcantara steering wheel

My brother finally succumbed to my ever increasing peer pressure to do some cosmetic attributes to the interior of his 08' NISMO.

So he decided to send a stock 350z steering wheel to JPM Coach works of Georgia. Not very many people recover a stock 350z steering wheel for what reason I do not know, but the result is spectacular looking!

I saw some pictures from a Subaru forum of their work and showed it to my brother. Need less to say, they can do some VERY nice work.

They added extra thick padding, wrapped in Alcantara and used a nice red stitch.

http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/index.php

Here are the results, wheel and shift boot are in the mail now. Will have more pictures once they are installed:

They are asking $425 for the STI steering wheel, which is about the same job...

About two weeks. His shift boot is being custom made out of the same Alcantara material as well. $60 for the boot, and if I remember correctly about $400 for the wheel.

All of this really in regard to his wish to retain the SRS airbag system. He just recently finished his engine mods for now. He is running the COBB Accessport, dual SRI's, Berk test pipes, and JIC titanium single exhaust. The car sounds AMAZING at 8,000 RPM. , nearly identicle to a single'd 2JZ Supra....no lie!

Now he can finally keep up with my M3...LOL

Here are some (crappy) pics of the wheel installed. He went ahead and deleted the radio/cruise buttons with track edition pieces and painted them to match the interior (the pics don't do this justice). The shift boot matches perfectly !

And yes, his OEM NISMO edition steering wheel is up for grabs. Its in perfect condtion. PM me for price or pics.

That looks great. I sent them an email about wrapping my sun visors.

Out of curiosity, how do you pop the two aluminum pieces off the steering wheel?

Hey Guys,

Joe has done my interior for the 370z and we are going to re-do it again with a new design! I have seen JPM Coachworks for years now and they do a FANTASTIC JOB! Seriously, if you are in the SE they are the go to guys! Right now my headliner is in their shop for red, white, and black suede theme and next are my bride seats to be recovered along with my steering wheel and center console and much more!

If you guys want to see more pics of their work let me know.

Not to bad if you like to sport the OEM fit/quality but I think they went to far with the 370z. They need to step away from the black alcantara dash kit and stick to the basics.

Not to mention if its was 460$ for your bro then they must have charged a ton for that 370z.
