Default Mishimoto Fan shroud

Just got this in and was wondering if anyone else that is running this on there Z could give me some feedback on quality and dependability. I am running a turbo and want to know how much I am going to have to watch to make sure it is kicking on right. After all I don't want to over heat, I am in fl.

Mods pls move if in wrong section.

I was simply advising that I recalled seeing at least 1 install thread. If it's not a helpful thread then do be it...that's not my fault

I'm not interested in selling you anything so don't worry Jr my feelings aren't hurt

If you stated it like this "I recalled seeing at least 1 install thread." then I would understand but instead you start with this "if you search". Not saying because the thread was not helpfull that it is your fault just confirming why this "one of which went into the install " does not help.

Sounds good to me little Timmy but if your feelings where not hurt then what propted the 11min reply. What was the rush???

Actions speak louder than words and your reply timing is screaming the other way.

Do you speak to all potential customers this way??? Must be why you have the time to lurk the threads.

Oh well, will bring me plesure to enlighten others to the way you handle yourself and potental customers.

hopefully you find the info you need; I'd give it to you, but you frankly don't deserve anymore of my time

eh screw it, I'm a better person than you are

Was the thread. Seems to cover the install correctly

Anyone understand this?

The OP of that thread was the member I pmed without reply as well.

the12volt.com

Here is a link to relays from a really good site on all things pertaining to wiring in a car. This is where I look to for advice anytime I'm having trouble wiring things like car alarms. A simple search on this site should come up with the pin-outs and what they do on the relay.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help but I lost most of my wiring diagrams due to a hard drive melt down.

This looks like it should work for your setup.

Pin 86: Tie this into factory wiring that switches the fans on. (someone else may know which wire this is)
pin 87: Of course take this to the battery with a fused connection.
Pin 85: Chassis ground. Be sure it makes contact with bare metal.
Pin 30: This connects to whatever wire kicks on your fans.

I know you don't want to chop into the factory wiring but you need a remote turn on lead of some sort. And be sure to use a fuse going to the 12v+ line. Your fans should tell you how many amps of current they draw.

Hope this helps. It's been quite awhile since I've been wiring relays and other crazy stuff.

To make life easier get one of these:

Just Google 5 Pin Relay Harness to find one.
