ok boys i was doing some searching and didnt really come up with any answer to my question but. i just wanted to know which companies produce a quality carbon fiber hood or products and which ones to stay away from. At the same time i didn't want to lay down $800 just to buy a brand name,,

Any suggestions, comments and experiences welcome plz

 

search, you cant go wrong with looking at different cars with different hoods and making your decision based off that.

 

OP, this guys car is a rolling carbon fiber display.

Take a look at his thread and decide what you want, I'm sure he has it. LOL

 

I have a Varis bumper duct... it looks a million times better than anything I've ever seen, except a Mines'. I was so impressed with the weave and quality that I ordered the lip, I can only imagine the fit and finish of the hoods.. too bad they're butt ugly.

 

Most name brands like Seibon, Varis, VIS and Asuka are top quality vac bagged CF then you have places like KCG that do hand laying CF. I recommend you stick with CVR MotorSports for a good price on Seibon but in the end even Seibon have some parts that have cut to fit. Either way it doea not matter what brand you get if its bagged well only that you cover and hid it from the sun or get that thing re-koated in UV clear koat.
