Vertex and Amuse
Looking for some input. Right now I have an authentic Vertex full bumper kit. Since my Z sits so low, the front bumper has taken some abuse. Fiberglass and a lowered car sometimes does not mix. I am thinking Shine's flexible kits might take abuse a little better. Since they do not make a vertex kit, I was thinking about going with an Amuse front. For everyone that have seen both of these kits up close, how do you think the Amuse front would look with the Vertex sides and rear? It is a little hard to get an idea just from pictures. Thanks for the input.
The Amuse replica looks great. Shine makes some pretty good replicas. I'm using one of the Flexible FRPs bumpers and the only complaint I have is it is a little thin. This hasn't been a problem, but I can see my self wearing a hole through it before breaking it. I've touched down and dragged it off driveways (on a scale 1-10, 10 being the worst I dragged it through about a 7) and its taken no damage other than paint.
This is of course considering the stock body sides and rear.

How bad is the FB anyways? I mean my bumper is pretty low plus it's a long nose so it scrapes everywhere, also have gouged it on the pavement cause of a pot hole and really only have paint scrapes and no cracks.
yea, i scape my vertex front bumper all the time and it's still rock solid. sure the paint is gone, but not a crack on it yet. *knocks on wood*. I've accidentally (honest!) bottomed out the front bumper on more than one occasion and it's still fine.
My issue is that the bumper is cracked on both sides right by the lights. I may just let it go since a new one is going to get beat up as well. When I decide one of these days to paint the car I can repair or replace. It is not that noticeable. I just hate any type of scratches cracks etc on my cars.
