^ I wouldn't assume anything on what other company's do as far as building them unless they say exactly somewhere on their web site or something.

Either way, why not go ahead and try it out anyways? I would be a fun project.

I was only speculating...

I may make the one set for my car but it is cost prohibitive to make them
on any kind of scale that allows me to offer them to others. I would have to shell out $30k to have 500 sets (pairs) made in the hopes of selling them.

I'm not the gambling type.

just in case your wondering... superbrightleds-com, an advertiser here sells direct replacement lamps for this "idea". custom is one thing... replacing four lamps ($28.00) in 10 minutes or less is another. To the OP, i would prefer more powerful LED lamp replacements that would still fit through the OEM housing hole.

i'm split on the fence, some areas of my Z will be semi custom, others just lamp replacement. To the OP, i will not spend huge money or invest months or weeks of my time on a custom setup. one accident will make you/me cry

given that, this is what LED lamp replacement looks like vs incandescent. sorry if you don't like my commentary, i sound funny, lol!
