Default Getting Wires Thru the Firewalls

I'm installing some gauges and I can't seem to find that grommet that allows me to penetrate the wires thru the firewall. I have an 08 base coupe and was wondering if anyone with 07+ has experience in locating the grommets... Much help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

You can go through the passenger side. In the battery area, you can remove the plastic crap in the way, then remove the fuse holder cover, you will see rubber that has a bunch of wires going through it. You can use that to access inside your cabin if you can't find anything on the driver side. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.

That sounds like a plan. Where from the passenger side would I retrieve the wires? I'm kind of hesitant since it could get pretty dangerous inside that battery compartment if i don't know what parts of the compartment i'm working with.. Thanks !

I used the drivers side rubber grommet to route the wires for my wideband. Just poke a hole but be VERY CAREFUL you dont hit any wires. It should come out right under the steering column by the pedals.

Its very easy, there is really nothing to it. When you remove the fuse cover, you will have plenty of room. If you remove the plastic panels, you will have even more room. It just goes underneath the passenger dash area. I say, push through a wire or something, just snake it down until it reaches the other side. Get a head lamp and then you will see where it is coming from. Thats where most people route either their power lines for amplifiers or nitrous. Sorry I don't have pictures, if I had one, it would be very simple, pictures really do say a thousand words.
