Modified 350z L.E.D. tail lights
Thanks for all the compliments on the tail lights. I put a lot of work into them. They are eagle eye after market tail lights not the clear JDM tail lights. This could be done to the JDM and OEM tho. The casings are all the same. I have an 06 350z and the light quality between the stock L.E.D. tail lights and the after market tail lights are the same ( casing ,lights and all). As of now I do not have any built for sale or am I sure what they would cost when I do build a second set. I will be sure to let anyone who is truly interested in getting a set know when I do build some more.
I am posting more videos of the tail lights below. A couple of better ones in the day light. I am also posting a few more pics.

so if you need to get your firearm quickly, you have to
1. fold the seat down
2. probably step out of the car to get it
3. be sure you don't accidentally shot yourself since its facing towards you (assuming you grab it from the drivers side ).
lolz.

The car is being built as a show car....Yeah, I turned the compartment behind the seat for the stock sub into a gun case...Secret agent style...lol... I plan on actuating it so it will open with the hit of a button. When the stock panel is in place you can not tell there is anything there. The rifle folds in half and the regular mag and extended mag fit perfectly under it. I built a custom mount into the compartment that has places cut out to sink the rifle and both clips. Kind of like a portable gun case would have. Like I said its just for show not for reliable protection in a quick situation. Too many steps to get to it....Kind of like having your gun in the trunk....
The tail lights came with the clear lenses. You can not bake the tail lights on the Z....They tend to melt
...... The only way is to cut them open which takes a little skill and time to get right with out damaging the light. Either that or hacking them up so bad that you can't get them back together with a good enough seal to keep out the moisture .That is by far the trickiest part of the whole thing... Nothing worse than a foggy lens
... Thanks for the interest.
The function you are talking about is the reverse lights but its not blue.... Its four ultra bright white L.E.D.s. I moved everything from the rear bumper (turn signals and reverse lights) and put them into the tail light.
^^ I don't want to be a a-hole or anything but I've opened about 5 sets of these same lights with a heat gun and plastic interior molding removal tools. I like what you did. I'll send you pics of the set up I did. It might give you some ideas for your next set. I was going to post a DIY but it is really time consuming and you can easily ruin a set of these. I should have mine finished this weekend. You beat me to it man, lol. All in all, nice job.
Since my friend is a high rank manager at DEPO's main headquater. Maybe I can ask them to redesign the "Z" part of this light. What would you guys suggest the look on that section?
