Default Interior Rubbing Off

I did a search and nothing came up. If there was a post like this im sorry, I cant find it.

Does anyone have problems with their black interior rubbing off? I have white dots popping out everywhere on my interior. Its not flaking its just rubbing off in the areas i touch the most.

Is there any type of paint thats high quality that I can just re-spray the interior without making it look like a riced out civic?

Also the interior cleaner I used was Meguires NXT (I think) and some other Mothers products. Never armor all.

I don't really remember, but I think this has happened to me when I used armorall in the summer. I switched to mild soap and water to clean my interior

yea i checked ou those posts and thats not really my problem

they arent scratches... its just that the paint is too thin and rubs off..

Biggest area of the problem is that little door on the cubby where the nav is... i use 1 effin finger to close it and in that area its white.

also the area where my elbow touches the door pannel.. thats rubbed out too

Edit: Duplicolor Fabric & Vinyl spray paint... color : flat black... found it... ty

The subject is 6 years old.

Yes you can treat plastic with a product such as 303 Aerospace or Mothers back to black. And yes you can paint plastic with plastic paint.

The same thing is happening to my dash. I'm going to paint the center dash PPW to match the exterior of my Z.

This thread is kind of old, but did anyone find a fix for this problem? I have the exact same problem as Kabs. The black paint, especially on that cubbyhole area, is flaking off.

Is there a good black plastic paint out there that matches that color? Anyone with experience tried to fix this?

I also searched the forums, but found nothing except for this post. Just in case though, flame suit ON.
