Hi i'm looking into the veilside body kit made by extreme dimensions. I understand it is a replica so it may need some modification. I'm wanting to hear some opinions on duraflex like is it really as strong and flexible as they advertise? Are there any other better material types i sould look into? Also how much money do you think it costs to get installed and painted (just wanting a ball park range)?

Extreme Dimensions doesn't make VeilSide parts.
If you want a REAL body kit, I can help you.
A lot of the replica parts end up costing you the same as a real kit in the end. You should hear the stories the body shop guys tell me over the phone. They usually end up giving up on the replica kits because they are so terrible.

Here is the body kit. The reason I was looking at a replica is because of how strong duraflex is suppose to be. I won't get fiberglass and carbon fiber because they can crack. So i'm mainly looking at polyurethane and duraflex because they are strong and flexible. What do you recommend doing? I don't have thousands of dollars to put towards this either, so whatever you think it has to be affordable

sorry to burst your bubble. but hitting the right object at the right angle, even the most flexible of materials will crack. polyurethane kits are alot heavier than FRP/CF body kits too-
of all the ED kits i've seen, the fitment is quite poor. i'd say 85% of the shape and fitment is there but problem is to get that last 15%-- takes a majority of the prep time to make it look right.
you get what you pay for.

Good luck with whatever you choose. Hopefully you do it once, the right way. It's no fun trying to do it the cheap way, but having to do it twice or three times before it's "right".

I have seen a VeilSide Ver. 1 front lip next to an ED piece. The VeilSide definitely looked and felt better. I too have been actively comparing different front lip manufacturers, and VeilSide has been the most impressive IMHO.
As far as cost, I was quoted $350 for paint and install from a local body shop based off of a picture of a Ver. 1 lip. This was just a ballpark and I don't know if that is a great price or not since I have never had body work done that an insurance company was paying for. Of course that could change once I have a product to be installed, but I was also shopping around to get a feel of the overall cost.
