Which black is better
I'm finally prepping my car for paint this weekend and I decided on going black but I couldn't decided between magnetic black vs super black or going with another black? All together or should I just do a respray of chrome silver il post up a pics later today when I get to my laptop
Trust me iv looked over alot of colors from. Lambo oranges to reds blues ect. Ihave a dd so I didn't want somthing way out there in the color scheme I just wanted a color that was sexy and clean and aggressive. Iv always owned silver cars and I fell in love with the black z thread. I know this has been brought up before about crappy nissian paint and using other than oem black ect I wasn't really leaning towards any particular black I was just looking for others opinions

unless you are looking very close (within a foot or two) of the two colors and were looking specifically for differences, they will look exactly the same. fact is it is your car, whatever color makes you happy should be the one you go with.

^^^actually, super black and magnetic black are very different . even when looking farther than 2 feet way. Magnetic black is more of a greyish black since it has so much pearl. The super black has no pearl which every flaw will show. It's hard to explain but owning both i can make a judgement like that very quickly.
My original paint was superblack and i got it repainted magnetic black. I can not begin to tell you how much easier it is to take care of a pearl black than a straight black. But with magnetic black, you will lose some gloss to it.

+1 I was thinking the same because I have a cf hood. But is there any additives that could bring out a higher gloss or give it a deeper tone of black without sacfricing the gray in the black.

The only thing I hate about my Z is the level of maintenance that the Super Black paint requires. When it's shined nothing looks as good ... 30 minutes later and you can see the dust and pollen on it ... and we're not even going to talk about sprinklers or rain.

I like both blacks! If you want any dark color to look WOW, then invest in the complete Zaino kit, hands down.. be sure to get cs and z8 grandfinale too.. use z-aio, z-5 2 coats, z-2 1 coat, then z-cs, and then z-8 grand finale... your black will look better than anyone that doesnt use Zaino!
I havent tried this myself but this is a digital paint booth from House of Kolors. Thought it might help you decide what black to pick. Don't limit yourself to OEM colors, get creative and find something you like. http://www.hokdigitalpaintbooth.com/index.php
