Default NEW momo steering wheel

Wow, Nissan has a new Momo steering wheel as an option. It looks nice, it's here:

HAHA, thats the exact same steering wheel that comes stock on the Lancer Evolution. Only with a nissan emblem on it. Interesting.

I like the one on the left... but where do your cruise control functions go? :-)

Obviously, the one on the right looks like it gets rid of the airbag... but the left its still there?

I just had a friend pick up the Momo steering wheel for me as he is in Japan right now and said the price calculated out to ~$595. They had to airfreight an Infinity G35 Sedan over to Japan for a sales meeting ("shipping" was ~$28,000!!!) and he said he was just going to throw it in the trunk for the trip back. He made a good point that they airfreighted the car over there and all they did was unhook the battery, essentially rendering the steering wheel in the car in the same condition as the new Momo steering wheel, and it didn't blow up. He did double check with some people at Nissan and did verify that it should work fine. Obviously there are no buttons, but since I have a Base, I don't have the usual cruise control buttons anyway.

Lucky you!! Perhaps you can start a group buy and have a trunkfull of those on the trip back. Why waste valuable trunk space?
