Default digital pod gauge backlight won't dim?

As the title states the back light on my digital pod gauge will no longer dim when the headlights are turned on. For clarification the one which displays the switchable info, mph, dte, ect. The remaining interior lights do dim/turn on and off as they normally do.

Just some info that might help out is the only thing I have done recently was routing another wire along side the existing ones through the firewall via the large grommet behind the battery box. I also uninstalled and reinstalled my headlights recently but I have done this countless times without issue. Can anyone shed some light on this? Maybe the dimmer has a fuse of some sort that I blew?

I tried searching but I couldn't find a combination of terms that pulled up anything worthwhile. Thanks in advance! -Mat

Did you try using the dimmer buttons on the left side of the gauges on the steering wheel?

I haven't adjusted them since I bought the car, and the rest of my gauges seem to be set fine. Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Keep it comin boys!

edit:: Odd... never noticed before that the back light on the gauge will not even illuminate now that it is daytime, is there a light sensor somewhere? I guess I will have to wait until tonight to try those buttons.

If you unplug your battery, they all go back to full bright until you adjust them down. And they back light is on, the sunlight is just brighter. No light sensor.
