What did you guys with the INgs front do about mesh grille? Where did you get it and how did you attach it?

Edit:

WHat about this in a 12x48 sheet in Black? Is it enough and would Black be a nice contrast? How the hell does this attach? I don't think there are any tabs on the inside of the bumper.

If I go with a black bumper grill, should I have him shoot the hood grill Black? Or would that be a problem being that it probably has clearcoat on it?

I'm having him spray the hood grills black. Ordering the front right now.

Edit, DO I really want the 12" sheet or should I go with 2 6x36 sheets? How big is the opening on the bumper?

Meh, just looked at pics, it's def bigger than 6 inches..

I just wanted to be sure I got something in a hefty gauge and I wanted powdercoat not paint.

Getting a lil nervous/excited. Semi-bubbleguts ftl. I'm trying to plan out the rest of my install work so it goes smoothly with no down time. What I have left to do:
  • Install coilovers, camber kit, and toe bolts
  • Plastix the headlights
  • Wrap sub box in black vinyl
  • Pull rims off and polish inner/outer lips and install titanium finish lugs
  • Install white LEDs for the rear license plate
  • 15mm spacers up front
  • Install grilles front and rear
  • Install CF J panel and B pillars
  • Order 3M DiNoc for interior wrap
  • Order Roof antenna base and 3" CF antenna
  • Tint

Possible single turbo over the winter.

Edit: Just ordered 6 feet^2 of 3M DiNoc

Edit 2: Ordered antenna

Ugh I like how the car came out, but the hood/bumper gap is nuts. Is there anything I can do to close it up some? I'm taking it back next week to have the clear wetsanded and to reinforce the front bumper. I'm thinking I can shim the bumper bolts to close the gap? What can I do here?

Lookin good there mang. I see the gaps you're talking about. I thought the body shop would be able to clear those up?

I had a problem like that on a lowridder once. We ended up adjusting the latch in with the hood is secure. We lowered the latch and that solved our problem. Can you push down on the hood and close the gap ??

Well, I'm taking it back next week and we are going to try to adjust it then. I just wanted the car back at this point. I'm working on a design to reinforce the INGs bumper. Kinda like those supports you see on some bumpers..

Oh and the car is a neckbreaker, BTW. I got three compliments on my way to work and countless people were checking out the car, lol..

Yeah, it closes up a bit. I think it's being stopped by the rain guard tray that is installed underneath the vents. I also have a 5/8" plenum spacer, so that my be an issue as well. I have not even had a chance to meticulously go over the car. I picked it up and came straight to work.

Can't wait to detail it and do some more installs...

I bet it looks stunning in sunlight! More pics in the sun or you're banned! Why do you want to reinforce the bumper? Is it flexing too much? Those lights have got to go though!! I don't like mine either so I just bought a bbk that was orange to stand them out...haha.
