Need Help from 04 up 350Z owners with Pic Request...Please Help!!
Hey guys\girls,
I'm doing a 04 to 03 seat belt conversion so I can have the seat belt extender things. I have the seat belts already. I need some help with how they connect to the side mounting.
This is the mount I need help with...
<img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23/grnlude/dscn0837th.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
could some one take some detailed pictures of that mount from a 04 up 350Z.
I need to see how it connects to the side....
I would have had a look at a 04 350z at a dealer, but they are non at any of the dealers near me... .
If someone can snap some quick pic's that would be awesome...
Thanks,
V

Where did you buy those seat belts in the first place? And the mound is very simple- just like an 03, it just holds up on 1 bolt... so nothing really to "setup". Its just 1 piece so pretty easy.

also, you do know that to change seat belts, you have to take out the seats, and all of the plastic behind/on the sides of the seats, including glove compartment and sub behind the drivers seat ( did that on my car to change to different color belts last weekend). So its not something that quick, will take a good half the day. Go ahead and vacum/clean your car really nicely while at it.

lol...That's not my car. That pic is from the one which was being parted out.
I did have a look at it. But it doesn't go into too much detail regrading the mounting. May be I looked at the wrong one. I had a look at the one on 350z - tech . com. Have you got a link to another one by any chance?

EDIT.. This is what the 04 up middle seat belt mount looks like.
It's different to the 03. That L shape bit is what's annoying me. I can't figure out how it goes. I had a look at a 04 side panel and there are no holes for that bit to go through. Which means it mounts externally. I can't see how it sits...

but there is. Basically that "L" shape is just to hold the bracket at a certain angle. It doesn't go UNDER the side panel. It sits on the outside, then just tighten the bolt. In the side panel itself- there's a little "hole" where that L goes into, and then you put the piece of plastic on top to cover that all up.
