Default CF Lip on a lowered 350z for NORTHEAST concerns????

hey everyone, i have a 350z lowered on eibach sportlines and was thinking about purchasing the Seibon CW Front Lip. Has anyone ever had there Front Lip Ripped off by the roads in or near the northeast. Only concerns are that the roads are too shitty and dont want to lose my 500 bucks on the road or highway by having it rip off. Let me know

It's one of the chances you take when you lower a car.

might be better suited for you to get a nismo v2 bumper (or similar) that has a lip molded into it

1.) dont do it, the roads are to F*ed up, at least in the dc area, plus if you drive it in the winter you will plow the roads as you go. It seems theyre always tearing up the roads in the north east.

2.) 500 bucks for a cw front lip are you kidding me?

You just need to learn which areas to avoid.

Since I don't live in your area I can't advise you on which areas to avoid, but you may want to think about home-work-social activities and determine if you can get away with a front lip.

As long as you drive slow and constantly scan the road... you'll be fine. I have yet to damage my v2 bumper, I'm on sportlines as well. I once lost half my front bumper and everything from the cat back on my corolla gts though.

My JP Vizage got absolutely destroyed in NJ and Philly. I don't plan on daily driving the Z or taking it to Philly anymore after it gets out of paint.... Looking around for a beater pickup now...

I'm pretty sure that there are shitty roads everywhere, not just the northeast...

I not sure you understand just how bad the roads get when you get nasty winters and your states in $50billion+ in debt. My collection of bent wheels, bubbled tires, and flattened y-pipes is saddening.

I live in Miami and the roads in certain areas are just as bad... Just know which ones to avoid. I dont take my car to Downtown, Parking Garages, or any allies...
