I just ordered some Veilside mirrors from Brian at veilside from the "supersale"...
and I have not recvd them yet so I ask:

I understand they arent power, but has anyone had these in their hands before ?

Im curious as to whether or not they are a complete mirror w its own base, bolts etc... or do I have to take apart my OEM mirror and use the mounting base from it to install the mirror.. hopefully no cutting involved...

Anyways, if ya got any tips... lemme know.

some complained about fitment, not being able to see properly, and installation issues on the bases due to jdm vs usdm ..

i used "Veilside mirrors" as the search words..

 

now that i have them, it appears they mount to the stock OEM mirror base. Havent delved into it yet, but looks reasonable. Im sure it will still be a bit of work, but it appears the end result should be good. The mirror faces are indeed VERY small.

 

Yeah they use the stock base.

The Japanese ones have a very slight difference in the shape of the base.
