The setup I bought on eBay dirt cheap was missing an important
Harness and instructions apparently. Adam @ z1 is trying to help
Source both items.

Just got the necessary harness, but no instructions.

Does anyone have them?

I've got $20 via paypal for a PDF of the original installation instructions.

i recall reading something about an install using the factory wheel though, and it required quite a bit of work.

No.. Check the first page for a pic. It's for aftermarket steering wheels.

I don't have my instructions anymore or I would have PDF'd them for you. However, to my knowledge, no one has translated the instructions from Japanese to English, so the instructions really wont help you, except for the pictures. I would contact Aspec for instructions. They were one of the first companies to import this product in the states, so they may have an extra set of instructions they could hook you up with.

The harness is plug and play and simple to install. The main part of it hooks into the harness that connects to the base of the AT shifter. The last thing you may not know is that there is a red wire (for power) that you need to use to tap the ignition wire, to make the kit work.

Hope you love the paddle shifter kit. I've had this same kit on my G35 for the last three years, and haven't driven my car in automatic mode since I installed this kit.

The pictures would help! Thanks for the notes. Anything else you can think of would be great.

After 8 hours of tinkering green goblin was able to get my
Kit working. The paddles are awesome, though I've gotta adjust wheel
Placement. Will have to post a video for y'all!

let's just say the kit as i bought it required a lot of custom work.

even with the harness supplied by z1 green goblin had to hand wire most of it.

maybe he'll chime in. off to s&r...
