my new 350z seems like have weak headlight brightness. it's 05 350z with 39000 miles. Performance model. It's definitely dim comparing to my brother's 06 g35 coupe. When i drive the g35 at night, wow, i can see everything clear. But I can't really see things clearly in my Z. I thought Z and G have same parts including the HID. I feel like my HID is worse than non HID headlights. Could my HID have gone bad bc it's 5 yrs old?

PLUS, I think my HID is facing the ground comparing to many cars i have driven which gives me less view range. is there a way to adjust this so that it faces more further?

Headlight performance is what it is. Better than some vehicles. Worse than others. If you are uncertain about performance replace the bulbs. My recommendation is http://www.sylvania.com/BusinessProd...otiveLighting/

 

I assume i need a HID headlamps or halogen capsule headlamps? maybe my HID is not bright bc it's not HID?..--__--hmm
