I guess this just looks 'different' when it's not on the Z because it doesn't sit flush until I drill. I ordered this from Motorsport for my 2008 and the more I look at it the more it looks the way it's supposed to. I just need someone to tell me.."Hey jackass it's the OEM rear deck lid for your Z."

Instructions look pretty simple but if anyone has any tips that help please let me know...

Yes, that's it.

A lot of people cut off the studs and just double-stick it on. Saves you the potential problems associated with drilling the holes.
