Vex008... I'm liking that. What do you think the cost would be for a full kit?

 

What do you mean by "making", he doesn't make anything. It's clear that ViS Racing makes and sells the kit.

Fact:
Over the last 5 years several vendors using the exact same identical business practice of being "middlemen" for replica kits have failed miserably and have taken people's money and run.

Can anyone disprove this?

After pointing out these similarities, I merely stated that I would be reluctant to purchase from him as opposed to directly from a manufacturer. That angered him...oh well, history is doomed to repeat itself on these forums.

Would he have been forthcoming and declared this was a product made by ViS Racing, had I not checked myself? I guess we won't know.

I am presenting this in another light that some new forum members have not seen yet as to what really goes on from personal experience and from reading on here. I wouldn't recommend paying a 3rd party for something you can buy directly, that just opens up the floodgates for mistakes that can and will happen sooner or later. Read between the lines. All that glitters is not gold, make an informed decision with your money and be sure to protect it. Happy Holidays...

You can purchase from whomever you like. Yes we Sell VIS, AIT,Shine, Authentic Chargespeed, Seibon, Extreme Dimesions, Bomex, Veilside, Asuka. etc... we try to get whatever you want at a good Price.
We also have other parts like coilovers, exhaust, brakes etc..

others stuff at a discount and pass it to you. I know Strafe would rather make less profit on 10 sales than max profit on one sale. I also know buying directly costs more. It is up to the person. We want trust, respect,customer service to be brought back to this industry. Give me a chance to provide that service. If I fail then blast me. Not fair to Blast me right out the gates.. Strafe has their own molds and sell parts made for them or made to them exclusive. If Vis makes it and only lets Strafe sell that item then it is Our Exclusive..We never said we made this Kit. We jumped at the chance to sell it. I semi mounted the front bumper on my white z last night. I have the rear and sides. I'm going to have it go to the shop soon. Give me a Chance is all I ask on here the rest will come..

I know lawrence PM'd you and you posted it. I also know he supported you last yr with your issue with AI. We are sorry you got burned. Wasn't me and wasn't Strafe.

FYI Our Place won't flood.. We don't ship Greyhound Unless waivers are signed and it is requested. I provide tracking numbers. Some products might delay because of stock but I will let you know. Special Orders are just that.. We also make splitters and can wrap stuff with CF. That costs more and takes longer. I will stay on top of each order..

MadhatterXXX actually you are quite wrong. We can have things made. We might approach VIS or others to make a mold for us.. We actually had this bumper made for Us the Z. We had design control all the way.


You are right we don't lay the glass it is done for Us. We put out the cash to get it done..I didn't mean to come off so rough just that I believe in what I'm selling and who I work for Strafe FTW. I know these guys are up and at it to wee hours in the morning. Not too many vendors you can get ahold of all times of day and night? Can you name one? We answer our email we are on AIM. They and myself are committed. We don't plan on Leaving my350z either..

 

i say give strafe a chance, if they f'up then we can all bomb them..... but i too know and READ ALOT of GOOD/POSITIVE reviews on strafe...... $H1T this is buisness... this world revolves around money... DEAL WITH IT!!!....

Some users don't understand why themadhatterxxx is in this whole deal. Unless experiencing a scam for ~1k or so, you won't understand his feelings and his attempt to protect some noobs/users.

btw, for strafe..... I don't get it. If you guys have the bumpers in stock, why not ship it to the ones that are ready to place the order. Do you guys need money to place a minimum order from VIS or something like that and you guys wanna use our money.. just curious what is the deal. This whole thing if getting sort of complicated.

are you guys going to test fit the rear bumper and post pics by any chance?

 

Any chance of VIS making the front bumper at least in something more durable than fiberglass? I guess the sides and rear wouldn't be as worrisome but it would be nice if the front at least was made out of FRP or something more suitable to street use.

 

Of course ANYBODY would get mad if that happens, its just how you handle that situation... and we are just pointing out that if hes here to do business, i dont think flamming back at a customer was a good idea.

Mike lets see that rear bumper in a Z!! dont make me buy it n be the first one to test it like the SL2 lol ( .. ill probably keep it ).. which im sure will have just as good of a fitment as the photoshop version earlier in the thread.

I'm putting the entire kit on my Z. The reason for 10 then release is this is a hot new product and it will be copied in bad quality. Vis asked us to do 10 at this time.

I'm getting annoyed trying to get this kit. Even when I have accessibility to pick up and pay for the rear bumper. I guess I'll just wait for Cianci or maybe get a rear chargespeed.
