The VS lip should totally cover that area.

Brian - I saw on your website that your CF lips must be clear coated. Is there anything special about the handling or prep of the lip or can it just be wiped down and clear coated by anybody?

Well, some of the newer ones have some UV stuff already in there, but I'd still suggest clearing it anyways.

Scuff it and clear it. pretty straightforward painting stuff.

another suggestion would be one of those bumper covers that covers that mid section... they come in CF... you could always get that paint matched too.

Yes, I've seen those. I believe EVO-R sells them as well.

I bought one awhile back and regretted it. It looked pretty cheap and it ended up cracking during the install.

I would stay away from it and get the full lip instead.
