2003 center console cubby retractable lid is having problems!!

My 2003 center console cubby retractable lid is having problems, like it will only retract half way and then stop, does anyone know a way to fix this?

Had the same problem with mine. Ordered the whole lid thing from a site on the internet that sold OEM Nissan parts for $100.

the gear tracks are made out of plastic. so every so often a piece would break and get stuck in the tracks. thats why it get stuck. i have to open it twice to remove the broken piece

I super glued the clips and lubricated the tracks and now it retracts like buuuutttterrrr.

Problem fixed so can go ahead and close thread.
