Hey guys,

I'm looking for a Veilside V1 Lip (2006-2008). But I am also open to alternatives that are the same styles as this lip. I know of Mines, Evo R, and obviously Veilside that make a Veilside V1 style lip. Does anyone know any other alternatives besides the companies I've already mentioned? Just wanted to know if i'm overlooking anything or not. I would prefer CF as well, just because it's a bit more durable than Fiberglass. I'm open to suggestions..

I've been trying to get in contact with people all over for a 06-08 Veilside V1 lip just havent had any luck.

Have you tried calling Veilside directly? I'm sure they have them in stock. You can also try Intense Motorsports.

 

There has to be one out there Dan, create a WTB or contact VeilSide like Calin suggested.

 

Veilside baby!!! Just go with that, no other lip fits the Z better than it. The Mines come close since they look the same but i still prefer the velside bcs it doesnt have that "fang" where the sides extends out further than the middle

 

i saw like two CF 06+ veilside fs in the used section this past month i think

 

Have you considered a Chargespeed bottomline or a Varis?

 

I really loved the Veilside V1 since the day I got the car. So I think i'm definitely going with that style. Toby those must have just passed me by, I have a few months to buy so I'll have to step my game up searching for an 06+ CF Lip. Ideally I don't like getting replicas so I think I'm going to try and search harder for the Veilside V1 preferably CF.

I already made a WTB thread for this a while ago haha, I have to bump that haha.

Already contacted Intense and working on contacting Brian at Veilside since he's no longer a vendor here.

Yea I don't know the specifics of why he isn't a vendor on here anymore, but my guess is that the 350z Veilside market isn't the same as back in the 2003-2004 days when I used to lurk around here.

I looked for one for sometime and just got fed up... I ordered my Chargespeed and it took some time getting to the US. Damn no wonder I haven't received a damned response for the Veilside side mirrors, I guys I'll have to get some Gandors and call it a day.

 

Anybody who knows anyone with a v1 lip for sale let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

Heard some pretty bad news about getting a new Veilside V1 lip, Intense has them on backorder with no ETA. Brian@Veilside, is no longer associated with them from what he told me.

If anybody has an 06-08 CF or FRP Veilside V1 lip, let me know. I have cash in hand, will spend it depending on condition.

 

Woah when did this happen? I just talked to Brian about the ETA of the front lips last week because I put a deposit down for a 06 v1 lip back in May and he said the container was set to be stateside in the 2nd or 3rd week in September. I still see him on AIM I'll shoot him a message.

 

Honestly, I don't know. I should have known when they stopped being a vendor on these boards. He also said that they were out of business, really hard to believe but I guess its true.

I also tried to get onto the Veilside USA site to contact them and there is no USA site anymore.

 

Damn I ordered a few months ago from them when they still were vendors.

Well I talked to him and he said Veilside is out of business hence I guess why their website no longer works.

Dan the Nismo lip is growing on me the more I look at it as well, just a thought.

 

Well since Veilside is out the window I'll probably go Ings LX or Chargespeed bottomline for my 07

 

I know right, didn't expect any of this. I like the Nismo lip too. I have the Aerosync front bumper now but I really wanted a V1 lip from the beginning. Going to get my front bumper and nismo sides repainted along with the addition of hopefully a V1 lip.

There is a $20 dollar reward for the person who finds me the person who I purchase the lip from. Looking for authentic nothing else.
