Steering wheel trim removal?

Default Steering wheel trim removal?
Anyone know how to remove just the trim on the steering wheel? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Mine are scratched up, and want to wrap it in 3m carbon fiber. Thanks

remove the whole wheel. there is 1 torx on each side holding the airbag on, then remove the center nut on the wheel. now that the wheel is off you have access
