Hi folks. I have owned a beautiful 2003 350z Touring model for about a month now. Prior to that I owned a very nice Altima SER. I love just about everything about the Z, except the driver seat. I am 6' 4" and 235 pounds. When I tried out the car and other Zs, the seat felt cramped, but I thought I would get used to it. I haven't. The seat hits me in the hip bones and in the rib cage on both sides of my back. I measured the seat on my Altima SER (I loved those seats by the way), and it is about 2-4 inches wider at all points.

Long story short, does anyone have any suggestions on how I might improve the comfort of this seat for me? Thanks.

Thank you for the feedback. I absolutely would buy a new driver seat, but I have yet to find one online that tells me it fits in the Z and the dimensions of the seat. Anyone know of a site/shop where I can find this?

 

The G35 seats look wider than the z's. I'm not positive they are, but it could be worth looking into.

 

There are people that have this wide seat in their Z. All The Corbeau seats on this site have a dimensions pic next to the seat pic, you just have to click on it.
