Well I got my Gauge Pod completed today. It holds 2-52mm gauges. The gauges are angled for a better drivers view.
I cut and molded the plastic gauge bezels in to a piece of ABS plastic. Then painted with a textured paint, then sprayed with a Black vinyl paint over the texture. Look pretty good I think.

What did you use to fillet the joint between the abs plastic and the gauge bezels? Can you provide details on teh paints, i.e. brands, paint codes, etc? I have an idea I want to give a try.

Here is what I did.
1. I epoxied the gauge bezels to the ABS at my desired angle on the back side of the ABS.
2. I then use bondo to fill the gaps and mold the Front side of the gauge bezels in to the ABS. Lots of sanding.
3. I use Rust-oleum texture paint. They have two kinds. Small Texture is what I used.
4. After letting the texture paint dry I use a flat black paint for the finale coating.

When I had my gauges in the nav cubby, I just installed them onto the actual cubby using spacers so I can still use the cubby to hold things. Very clean, I like.
