Starting to like that Veilside V.3
Man I have to say the Version 3 looks pretty nice on Super Blacks. One of the reason's I was hesitant about going black was because I thought you lost a lot of the car's lines due to the dark color. But with the Version 3 I think it helps tone down the "Holy crap" aggressive factor just enough. Of course my problem would be, is the kit fiberglass or avalible in Polyurethane? Also, there is the large gap in the front, but my question is, how empty is that gap? Is there a good large amount of room for a FMIC like it seems, or is there a lot of "Swoop in" material?
Also, random question. Interior LED and exterior lighting... Red or blue?

the kit is made of FRP. Fiber Reinforced Plastic. Another form of Fiberglass. I'm not sure if your referring to the gap area as the mouth, but the mouth area could fit a small sized intercooler. After all you want some air going to your radiator still.
Lighting, thats a opinion question. Go with what you like. I'm not a fan of LED's or Neon. So i will leave that question to others.

I'm not saying Neon's running on the underbody. But I do like to accentuate the interior of the car with LEDs in some of the "Interior" brighten lights. Like when you unlock your doors and the lights come on. In my BMW I have blue LEDs in 5 of the light fixtures. The front footwells, the two rear lights and the centeral roof light. So when I unlock my car it has a slight blue light all over the interior. The reading lights are still white light. I just think it adds a bit of flare. And the external LEDs would be the "CityLights", side Z's (Maybe, dunno if I like them) and the reflector LED replacements. I'm not getting window washer LEDs
. And I'm not very positive about any of the external... although a Super Black that could have red "Eyes" for show would look pretty mean.
As for the gap in the front, yes I know that you can squeeze and intercooler in there, I was wondering if the mouth goes deep enough that there is more room towards the back of the bumper for the IC. Now that I know it is only fiberglass though, I don't think I'll go with it.

as for Fiberglass i've not had any problems with it on my car. For a kit like this you really dont want it in Urethane. it will be god awful heavy, and will flop around when driving. Keep in mind that no part is industructable, if you have a fiberglass bumper, it is lighter & you can make awesome shapes with it, but the trade off is impact resistance is reduced. Don't go off the wrong info about Fiberglass, with any material there are different grades, different manufacturing techniques, and different results for fitment, flexibility and impact resistance.
Ultimate One! WHAT'S UP BUDDY?!?! How you been. Dude I can't thank you enough for hooking me up with the DI website.. you da man
. So yeah I am making the jump to Japan... excited about it. Glad to see a friendly handle in the forum.
As for fiberglass, lets go to my E46 days. I ordered a rear Tornado bumper from Racing Dynamics, fiber glass. The first time they shipped it to me it was cracked while shipped. Second time it had spider cracks running all over it. Then I have a couple of friends with more of the aggressive kits on the japanese cars. And I notice a lot of them having cracking and the like and they aren't buying stuff on Ebay. I am just very hesitant because my personal experience with Fiberglass has been unsettling. But then again that experience is limited. But Swifty thanks for the help and the info, I appreciate it. And looks like you rock BMW with myself and Ultimate
