ok so i have started. meant to take pictures in the process but hands were messy from the glass and resin. i will finish filling in with kevlar filler tomorrow and then sand down and have dropped off to be painted again next week. looking forward to this. =D

yeah putting those vents in was a horrible idea. had i not realized #1 they were gonna hit my stillen pipes from my cai and #2 they did not line up with the curves of the v2 bumper #3 as someone posted above to much going on up top and #4 my damn Z emblem was to big to fit in the original spot so smooth it shall be.

I think you should make the ***** work, but just color match them to blend in. I think that would be aggressive, but not over the top.

well i don't know how many ***** would blend in with my hood. but i can damn sure try to find some that will.

Hey OP - you ever messed with F-Glass before? Im a rook myself and am going to be doing the same.. Found a few sites to assist with the steps however are you still at the FB glass stage or did you already use the filler.? mind taking a pic of the filler you used and the bumper AFTER you sand it down?

yeah the weather has messed me up. i am using evercoat kevlar filler. this is my first time glassing so it has been a learning exprience. after i drove around a few days i found some of the local honda boys that told me what i could of did to make it look a lot better. but yes ill take more photos for you.

ok as i have stated i am by far a pro at this. i smeared this stuff on pretty thick but will sand it down tomorrow when i get up. will take more photos when finished.

This kevlar mixture is a ***** to sand. But it came out well minus a few bubble spots. I will let the body shop touch that up when they paint. The hard part is out of the way. Nice lesson learned, few tips taught to me after the fact, but i have no problem taking any more projects such as this again. Will drop off next Tuesday night to be painted for Wednesday.
