Yes, this will also work with a standard. You will also still be able to start it from outside the vehicle without a problem with a standard.
Check out auto-innovatio.com they have all of the wiring diagrams for installing these systems.

The buttons for our systems are ultra thin, measuring only about 1/4" thick. They can be mounted virtually anywhere in your Z that there is a flat surface.

I bought this two weeks ago. I just got around to the install myself this weekend. I have never installed an alarm before. I did the work myself and have to say it took me some time. But only because I have never done this before. Most of the time spetn was taking the dash and door panel off and then putting everything back together. The guys over at auto-innovatio are very helpful. I called them and they walked me through a few things I didn't understand. The 2003 and the 2006 and up have diffent wire colors. But it's hooked up and works great. I put the button right over the key clyinder. It looks like it came from the factory with the smart system. It works just as discribed.

Default ST800 really does work!

Guys, I wanted to give a big thanks out to Sean at Auto-innovatio!

My wife gave me the ST800 as a Christmas gift and of course I had to dig in and get this installed. The system really works as stated. I am a techie but not a stereo installer and of course everyone knows techies don't read manuals. So this did take me 3 days to install myself at a friends garage since it was raining and super cold for Texas. But when I needed help, Sean was there! He has excellent support skills and really does return calls.

A few things before you jump in.
1. Make sure you read all the manuals! More than once.
2. In the diagram you will see a part of a key. Yea this does mean you will be cutting your key. Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds. Make sure you put it the same way as you see it in the pic. Don't pull the stunt I did, then called Sean wondering why it's not starting.
3. Put your Two antennas up high. I have them in the console near the E brake and this makes me have to get close and pause to open the door. In my testing before I mounted everything, I was able to have the doors unlock before I reached the car.
4. The remote start from the fob works really really far! So far I've used it 8 times in the mornings to warm up the car and it works with no problems everytime. This allows me to get dressed for work and walk out to a warm and toasty car.

5. When installing this and if your kind of a big guy like me, I would recommend pulling the driver seat. If I would have did that the first day, this probably would have taken less time and a lot less bruises!

6. With my wifes help, we placed the push button on top of the key ignition and made it look factory.

I would recommend this for everyone who wants the latest gadgets in you car. Now, I only carry one key for the house and soon no keys after I get the new keyless entry door locks for the house!
