I'm sure he gave up by now but Di-noc is not for cars, or really any curves for that matter. use 3m1080, avery dennison sw900 with easy apply rs, Ritrama 520 series or oracal 970ra, to name a few. Cast with air release is the way to go.

Just did my shift console and key fob for fun check it out . Real easy stuff to use and very forgiving .
