Default Front lip yay or nay?

I was thinking about getting a INGS LX front lip, but just the front lip not the skirts or rear bumper. I've been searching for pics of cars with just the lip and can't find any do you think it would look okay? Let me hear some pros or cons about having a lip so I know what i'm getting into. My car is lowered on springs and I live in Florida so i'm worried about scraping and possibly ripping it off.

You're a big boy, make an informed decision.
If you come close to scraping stock, I'm sure you'd hate to buy/paint/install this lip, just to have it ripped off after a short while.
I thought the roads in FL were nice though

there somewhat nice, but we still got our dips. I just wanted to get some opinions from people who use their z as a dd and have a lip and whether or not they regret it.

ings lx front lip is going to be very low. with just a 1" drop in the front, the clearance is shoe height, so maybe 4" clearance from the ground.

well center of lip is higher, but i'm talking about the sides as you can see in pictures of lx lips. normal speed bumps no problem just go slow, the higher ones you're gonna have to snake it.

if i remember correctly... forum member boba's car is lowered 1" in the front and he had the lx lips. so you can see how low it is

I live in Miami and i only have 3" clearance. http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/5920/dsc0180n.jpg crappy picture taken with an iphone =/

Now let me tell you, being this low and close to the ground is a HUGE pain in the a$$. When exiting/entering driveways, malls, shopping centers, and just about anything else, i have to do it on an angle or i scrap. (Basically i have to use 2 lanes to avoid scrapping). Also there are actually some places i cannot go to; places with large speed bumps, or places with high inclines).

But all of that i can live with, it was very annoying at first but i got used to it so i don't mind anymore. My biggest and only problem right now is dirty road/highways. Anything on the road that's over 3 inches will pretty much destroy my bumper. I've had to fix and paint my bumper 3 times in less than 2 years because of pieces of tire thread on the highways. I go over them and BAM, my lip is broken.

So now i refuse to take the i95 and the 826 highway because they are extremly dirty and whenever i drive around a construction area i slow down to like 20 mph haha. AND i have to pay extra attention to the road to make sure i don't hit any piece of junk (even when driving around the city!)

I'm not sure how low you will be after installing the lip, but if you're dropped on springs you're probably already low so you will have to be extra careful!

should do the N-spec from INGS... I think it's pretty clean.
