Engine covers
This may be a dumb question, but I've searched and haven't found what I was looking for. I have a motordyne 5/16 spacer w/the strut bar spacers on my 2006 z. What are my options for CF engine covers that still allow clearance of my stock strut bar? Does a CF G35 engine cover work? I am looking to try to cover the plenum if possible also, I know the HR CF covers are really nice, regardless of the single intake, does the HR cover fit? Thanks for the help guys

you shouldn't have a problem going to the carbon fiber cover from the de motor. They have them in ebay our you could contact mr.wong the vendor.
I'm curious, Why would you want to put an hr cover on the single intake motor? I could see where people like the hood but not the cover.

Heres what my car looks like...
Heres what the CF HR cover looks like
Heres what the CF G35 cover looks like...
And heres the NON HR 350z CF engine cover...
I'm really wanting an alternative to just the small 350z cover that leaves that ugly plenum exposed, and I don't want to dish out the $800 for a SSV manifold (although I do think they look 1000x better). What do you guys suggest?!

LOL coming from the TROLL with the FOLEX that couldn't tell the right time on new years. Find a new hobby. A guy with a "Porsche TT" should have better things to do.

For everyone else, thanks for the compliments and the input! It looks as if the HR cover will bolt up in the front. Something would have to be done to secure it in the back though, from what it seems. I wish someone could take their HR cover and try to bolt it on a DE motor to see if it could fit!

Davis, I would just buy the CF DE engine cover and then powdercoat your plenum either gloss black or wrinkle black since I agree that the stock plenum looks kind of ugly. The HR engine cover does look nice, but it would suck for you to buy it and find out it doesn't fit.
