Trip Odometer

Searched the threads, but can only find how to reset it. My trip(s) aren't showing. When I do the reset, I get the first and second number reading 8,8 and the third reads 1. Is something burned out?

Sounds like something is not right then. Is your car under warranty? I'd take it to a dealer.
