Angry Ima bout to go insane w/ sparco ****

So ok i got this Sparco globe x shift ****,its beautiful and all but its stressing me.. I bought it off ebay used & i just got it but how am i suppose to install it..I cant open the **** up,i got a vice grip and tried twisting with hand and nothing, i ended up deforming **** abit on the bottom..Obviously the **** has to open up somehow so i can access the allen screw but Im like stalled with it right now. All i got was the ****,no allen wrench(I got one tho),no collar adapter,no collar ring no nothing,am i missing a tool to open it up or someone please educate me on how to open this thing! Thanks!!

the shift **** mod is as easy as replacing your floor mats.

get a good grip on the shift ****.

I don't think you open it up. There shouldn't any allen keys either. That is only on the "ricer" auto zone ***** that I've seen. The actual brand name ***** just twist on, like the factory one does.

That's why I hate certain sparco *****. They are universal junk.

incorrect.. alot of these "Brand Name" ***** are universal.

Yep. Momo, for instance, uses allen bolts. Many ***** come with adapters for different cars.

ah, alright, I am mistaken then. I personally have never seen one. My Nismo was universal and didn't come apart at all.

It's a universal part for Nissans which for the most part all have the thread pitch and size. Sparco's, Momo's, some Nardi's are Allen crap with rubber inserts.
