Default Here's what I know...

You are talking about the airbag in each seat?

I just did a swap from 04 Enthusiast to 08 Nismo seats and the wiring was not the same.

The 04 had two plugs, a small white plug I believe is the seatbelt sensor. This was exactly the same on the 08 seat. The second plug was a large yellow plug that went to the airbag. The car wiring harness had another plug but my seats don't have a plug for them.

The 08 had three plugs, the same small white plug mentioned above I think was for the seatbelt. A small yellow plug that went to the airbag. A third one that I could not track down. It went into the seat foam and I didn't feel like digging it out. It may be the pressure sensor for children, I'm not sure.

The only one that connects to the airbag is the yellow plug.

Since I searched earlier and didn't see anything on it I'll throw in some bonus info here regarding seat airgabs:

As I said, the airbags had different size plugs, I don't know when this changed. I did not want to splice the plugs so I decided to see if I could swap the airbags. Turns out, although the brackets are different, both bags bolt up exactly the same. So an 04 bag fits fine in an 08 and vice versa.

work tip: to work the seat zippers, use a small zip tie and cut them off when your done.

the cars after 06 (i think) had weight sensors on the passenger side.. so your extra cable might be for the weight sensor.

as for the thing that sits inbetween the seat, the silver box.. that is the VDC yaw rate sensor (i think thats what you're talking about...)

Yes, the silver box with the yellow connectors under the center console between the seats is the srs module. Just disconnect the battery for a few minutes before messing with it. The yaw sensor ppl are mentioning is further forward
