Default How do I Wrap Center Dash with Dinoc?

I just removed me center dash last night and am planning to wrap it in carbon fiber dinoc. I have plenty of the dinoc along with primer 94 and squeegee. My question is do i have to sand of the rubber texture or do I just ignore it and wrap over it?

Just clean it with alcohol and you will be good to go, especially with the primer on the more curved areas if needed.

I'm worried that i might be able to see the texture of the center dash through the dinoc. What do you think? Will the texture show through or not and have you done this or are you just guessing (I'm not trying to sound offensive, just curious). Thanks.

I highly doubt you'll be able to see the bumps under the dinoc. The dinoc material isn't that thin and the weave would also hide it. Just get a 1x1 inch piece and stick it on the bumps to see how it looks before doing the whole thing.

I was thinking of doing this as well. Does this stuff come off easy if I change my mind, or is it permanent?

I highly recommend sanding the panel down smooth and using the 3m primer(for better adhesion)

St. Louis, so you're about 3 hours south of me.
