has anyone tried to remove this piece from the 03-05 headlights to maximize the light coming through? Mine looks weird cause it is....i drilled a crap load of holes to cut it....the angle was so weird I couldn't get anything to cut it....and I don't own a dremel.
I'm doing this cause I bought an HID kit from hidextra.com but it turns out, i think my 03 already has HID. I had no idea they had the option....



if you're confused of where it goes, it fits in the piece below to hold the lens in place.

 

I believe thats the cutoff beam that keeps from blinding oncoming traffic.

 

oh crapp....i figured it was there for a reason...i have two sets of headlights so I wanna try this out. I'm doing this cause I "blacked out" my headlights. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this but I guess that makes sense what you said yahh

 

id clean that up a little with ur dremmel now
