If I remeber he was doing like 200MPH in the desert in Nevada. Lost control and boom boom boom. Saw this car when it was @ Autolink ready to ship back to Japan. The driver walk away with minor injuries. Glad that he is fine.

"Daijiro Inada's zoomy-looking 350Z only went 7 miles before a tire blew, turning the car into a roadside curiosity. Inada survived." (Car and Driver, DEC 2003) Harsh.
The article also says that the "all-Japanese" team's 2002 350Z is stroked to 3.8 liters and has twin turbos. The car is claimed to have 650 HP, costs $100,000 and was done in 3 months.
