This process took ' bout 4hrs , 4 hands, dust free room/table a
good heat gun, a tube of black silicone and Neosporin.
oem HID's replaced with hella 7500k blue. make sure to seal up the oem ballast (3" hole when removed) on the bottom of the headlight assembly. use dynamat.
Next plan: HID foglights behind the grills(5.5")round sealed beam
(Hella conversion)
the amber strip is just a piece of plastic clipped on to the assembly,
just use something soft to remove it so it won't leave any marks.
sorry, my fingers still hurtin.
doesn't need oven. just a good heat gun and a lot of patience. you'll need to warm the glue for about 20min. before using high heat or there will be major damage!!!!!
after removal, check for lint before reassemble.
I use white led lights for replacements.
