in person it's not pretty...
coating the under side of skirts and bumpers and things of that nature it's very nice!
tricky to tape off
you have to remove the tapping while wet cause it will peel off with the tape

what would you suppose he do? pay $200 to have it removed, painted and reinstalled? plastidip doesnt belong on a c class mercedes? theyre nothing special. while it is an expensive car im sure he didnt get there by spending 40 times his money on something that takes 5 minutes to do and works just fine. plastidip > $200 emblem paint.

I did my 1965 Lincoln Continental with it. It is AWESOME. However it will take you awhile to get the right spray pattern down. You have to lay it on much thicker than you would normal spray paint. Dont cheap out or you will get streaks. Looks awesome and comes off easy though.

I sprayed the wheels on my Evo, grille and emblems on my TSX. If you let it dry in the shade or inside a garage no issues, if you let it dry in the sun, streaks inconsistencies etc will show. If it comes out bad just peel it off and redo it.

its for dipping the ends of your tools.
The older car up there loooks good, byut would have had better results with a vinyl wrap.
Please do not plastidip your car. just Wrap it.
When im tired of it, ill leave it out in the sun until my cars a good 150 degrees and suit up w Mechanix gloves and just PEEL it all of. Paints perfect underneath.

yes Sparco.... on emblems or smaller or "unwrappable" parts it looks great.
OP, Guess i dont get if youre curious about doing small parts or the whole car or not... id advise theres a better way still.

my main plan is to go with the vinyl wrap....but ill like to do a temporary dip to get visual how the car will look matte black.
dont want to spend 2k on vinyl wrap and end up not liking it.

haha. that would be a truly sad day to see you rattle can the sPARCO MOBILE.
OP.. google flat black wrap car.. i mean thers literally a million pics of all sorts of cool stuff.. and i just looked at plasti dip and it stays flexible , ie, wont dry hard, ie will show scratches easy and probably will not take to spray detailer and cleaners very well.
Wrap is ill... super easy to maintain and clean, and even dust.
But also dont try to do it yourself, its the least rewarding and most tedious and angry and terrible torturous thing i have literally EVER tried.
Its that bad.
And Im handy.
A TRULY HORRID PROCESS, IT WILL RUIN YOUR SOUL> haha/

I have to agree, don't do the whole car. There is a link on g35driver,where the owner did the whole car. when he tried to remove it is was not that easy, so he hydrosprayed it, and the paint came off with the plasti dip as well, Some blame the spray pressure others the dip, but when i pressure wash my car, the paint stays on. Don't let this happen to you, i believe the paint came off due to the plastidip being on the car for so long though. If you insist, do one item of the car first(eg. the hood or trunk) leave it on for a while and then remove it and see what happens.
