i give ya props for doing something different, if it was me i would try white vinyl or something that flows better with your paint

Huh. Havent thought about white, I'm thinking that something gloss might look better. I just was getting bored and trying to think of something that I could do to my car to make it my own. If you know what I mean.

I did mine slightly differently.

Kudos for holding up to the flames and comments. I sense Trav holding back his true feelings though.

Don't FAWKING DO THIS

Plastidip is a bish to get off once you've painted anything. I've dipped several cars and trucks. I plan on dipping my roadster once I work through the million gremlins I've created during the build.

Get as many layers on that taillight as possible. If you want to try white, I really suggest getting a can of grey to cover the black and build up layers. White sucks to spray especially out of a can. Even through a gun it's quite thin and runs easily. If I were you I'd just remove the light to do it.

As for looks. It's not good sorry man. The tinted lights and stuff belongs in 2002. I didn't dig it back then, I don't dig it now.

If I were you, and really hell bent on making the car custom, look at painting the headlights. There are some dope looking painted black housings on white Z's. I think you'll be a lot happier with that in the end. Stick with plastidip. Reversible is good.

My wheels already 2,5 years covered in plasti dip, still going strong!
No wear/damage at all, not looking forward to ever have to peel it off again though :-)
