How much should I be expecting to pay for paint?

Don't forget about paying for the building, electricity, heat, misc tools, hoists etc that are in the building and not owned by the employees.... There are a lot more costs that go into running a business than paying an employee and buying paint and bondo.......

Mine went little over $500 to paint my Shine V2 front bumper in PPW, black lip/grill, shaved emblem, and clearcoating the side splitters. At first I thought it was a bit over priced too but it was well well worth it. As some has already said here, you get what you pay for.

As a reference point, I just got quoted today $500 to strip my hood to the bare metal, prime, paint (OEM G41 Magnetic Black) and clear coat. I authorized them to do the work since the car is already in there getting the front bumper repainted under warranty (damaged by dealer), so even if that quote is a little steep it's worth it for the convenience just to get it done while they have the car.
