Yes and mount the struts to hold it, if not you can fold the splitter under at speed.

The tip of the splitter touches the ground, then folds it self under the car. Support rods are a must for a splitter. Also even with support rods you bumper has crack from high speed, 180km a splitter is easily support around 300 pounds of force, basically a fat guys standing on it.
