Here's a thread I posted in the regional forums for my JDM tail lights on my white 2006 Z.
https://my350z.com/forum/east-canada...n-white-z.html
You will find that the likes and dislikes is about 50/50.
But if you ask me, I have no regrets putting these rare JDM tail lights on my white Z. Definitely looks better than the red stock ones. But then again, my Z is white, other colors may yield different results.
Good luck.

I just installed mine
I purchased these from Z1 because they had the best price I could find. Unfortunately, 2 days after I received them, they lowered the price from $415 to $389. Oh well...my loss. I do want to point out that I have a 2008 350z and you do not need to trim/shave/modify the OEM plugs. If you have a 2007-2009 350z all you need to do is the following...(see attached photo).
Step 1: Remove/Attach "Plug" from "Metal Clip" on original tail light and swap wiring harness with the new tail light wiring harness (No need to trim/shave the OEM plugs as seen in this photo,
Step 2: Remove/Attach "4 Prong Female" to the "4 Prong Male" on the tail light circuit board.
Here is a photo my Z after the install.
