If you scrape it it will scratch I'm sure. Normally you will hit the front lip before this is going to hit, It sits higher than the lip. I really doubt it will drag unless you are extremely low and drag you subframe now.

finally broke in my aluminum one for real. Took my car to the drive in because I was too lazy to go home and get the truck, scraped the skid plate on one of the bumps and it did its job. saved the oil pan and sway bars and still looks decent. Makes really funny noises that scared the person next to me metal on concrete, I guess they thought I was dragging the frame or something? Only happened because there was a bit sticking up that caught on it. Thanks for saving my car sir. lol.

thank you for the incredible packing job - it arrived in Hawaii special delivery factory fresh. I am shocked how low the Z is bone stock so would recommend this SS panel over an aluminum one but that is an individual decision. It is a beautiful piece of work and it bolted right up perfectly. I was pushed for time after installing a typhoon so didn't even jack the car up just worked underneath. racing the sunset even and completed in the dark
will have to drop it to install the included SS screws next time + fumoto valve. if there was a matching plate for the center of the car I'd get that one too.
Zspeed - buy with confidence!

Guys, Due to some more demand for these I am making another small batch of these, They will be 2 piece design with No ZSPEED logo cut out.
Should have them ready to go in a week or so if you are interested just PM me for price.

For those who asked about how this rode on a lowered car, I dont remember if I posted about mine or not, but I got the aluminum one on my Z and I am sitting 1.5" lower than stock height. I used to have an issue where my front bumper would flex a lot if you just tapped it on anything (such as being dumb like me and getting too close to a curb when parking) and my stock plastic skid plate kinda got ripped off by a speed bump that there was no possible way to get over (who the **** needs one that steep? my truck has trouble getting over it) anyway as to the quality of this product, mine sits up a little higher than the stock one and rarely if ever scrapes on speed bumps and it is more rigid than the plastic one and helps the front bumper keep from getting bent up if I do make contact with a curb (which still happens sometimes as I am still retarded enough to forget about it sometimes.) Basically buy this ****. It is amazing, makes changing the oil way easier with that little access door they built into it, and it looks good too. Way easier to install as well because the holes dont flex or warp from heat or age being as they are metal. I ordered the hardware kit and a new set of fender liners with mine (plastic from the 06+ is a little better) and the new nut plates were easy to line up.
On a side note, I saw someone say that if you made more of these for the rest of the car they would be interested, I second that motion, I could use something to protect my exhaust, even if I had to have you make something custom to fit, some of these bumps out here in Nor Cal were made without cars in mind, and one of those nice little guys punched a hole in my exhaust that I had to have welded.
