Question Hasemi Vented Hood Question

Do they make the Hasemi vented hood in FRP or Urethane? The CF is cool, but I would most likely paint it. And since painting CF will get you hanged in these parts I figured FRP might be the way to go. Plus it would probably cost less.

They only make it in Carbon. Urathane would never be used for a hood too filmsy.

Just paint the CF if you like that look.

thanks for the reply. I am debating on either a Super Black or a Pikes Peak White Z, and although CF looks cool, I like the more elegant look of a single color.

Next question: I need opinions. Would that hood, and the ings+1 half kit look good together?

Here's the hood: http://bulletproofautomotive.com/cat...il.php?ID=1020

and here's the kit: https://my350z.com/gallery/albur47

12yearZ,

I have a SB Z and getting the Hasemi hood put on in about a week. Keep an eye out for the pics I post. If it doesn't look good in a test fitting at the shop, I will have them paint it except for the vents

It should look pretty good with the Ings kit, although I'm going with something different.

here is the picture.. Hasemi hood, Top Secret front lip and c-west side skirts and rear pieces.. i'll be getting the hood painted.. fitment is great but its not meant to be shown, its light weight and the cooling vents are perfect for my upcoming engine mods but slight imperfections do exist on the finish and now having seen it on the car the carbon on the hood has created too much of a visual distraction for me.. also the carbon fiber is a bit too different from the top secret and the c-west pieces..

one great positive of the vents is that the engine sound does escape a lot better, great for getting the attention of pedestrians that need be on the sidewalk instead on encroaching where i'm going..

That Hasemi hood looks hot. I'm debating either that or Top Secret CF hood for mine.
